Empowered To Stand Health Services believes that the best approach to healing is getting to the root of the brokenness. Frederick Douglas once said “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” If we can address the issues in children and youth, we will have effectively functioning adults. We believe that our clients, whether they are youth, adolescent or adults, should have the opportunity to live their lives with optimal overall health.

What Is A Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program
Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) is a rehabilitation treatment program for individuals with chronic mental illness that is based on the recovery and person-centered models of rehabilitation. Empowered to Stand Health Services encourages recovery, successful community integration and satisfactory quality of life for individuals who have a mental illness or mental health concern. ESHS focus on helping individuals develop skills and access resources needed to increase their capacity to be successful while maintaining an overall healthy life.

Direct Care team
Empowered To Stand Health Services Direct Care Team are responsible for providing community supervision, transportation, and behavioral management to clients as needed. They are also responsible for assisting each client in developing and maintaining the services that ESHS offers. Those services are usually rendered at home, childcare centers, and other community settings where the client abides. All services can be provided in a one-on-one setting or a group structure. Clients will be assigned to our Direct Care Team. The team will then schedule times with clients to help meet the goals aligned in the treatment plan. DCS assure that their clients attend group sessions once a month at one of the ESHS facilities.
